Philosophy
Stone Ridge Homes believes in quality from start to finish. We try to build each house as if it were our own whether it’s in one of our prestigious community lots or yours.
Design Process
We take great care in the actual home design to ensure you are getting an attractive home that is also energy efficient and as cost effective to build as possible. We call it “Value Engineering”. After all, a home must not only be affordable when you build it but also affordable to live in on a daily basis.
We also pay careful attention to the shape of your lot to ensure your new home fits on it the best way possible to give you the most curb appeal and at the same time compliment the natural terrain.
If you do not already have a house plan picked out, you can choose from one of ours.
Finding a Lot
If you do not currently own a lot but know what area you would like to live in, we can assist you in finding one.
Amenities
If you are not sure of the amenities you want in your new home, we can show you samples of some of ours to give you a starting place then modify them from there.
Restrictions
While we will be happy to accommodate you in any way possible, please be aware that the lot you choose may be part of a Home Owners Association that may have certain restrictions affecting the design, color or placement of your new home on the lot. There may also be City and or County restrictions that may apply. Once you have chosen your new lot, we will conduct the necessary research to ensure we are informed of all applicable restrictions that may apply so we can design your home accordingly.
These restrictions as well as fees imposed by the permitting municipality may increase the cost of your home.
Decorator Selections
You will be given an opportunity to customize your house using our selection room. You will be able to choose your carpet, counter top, bathroom vanities, cabinet style and color, tile, wood, brick, etc.
Build Time
Build time will vary from job to job. Most build times are as few as 90 days from the day we break ground. Some of the variables affecting build time include location, complexity of house plan, weather, and availability of sub contractors, materials and inspection processes.
Important Information
On the lot you currently own or are looking to purchase, we will need to know or receive the following information:
